chris & Hayley's fun filled wedding day at Alrewas hayes, with a ceremony at St James' in Barton under needwood, both in staffordshire - will fuller photography
It feels like summer is finally on the way after a long winter, so I've been taking some time to look back on my summer weddings from last year! Here's one from Hayley & Chris' day at Alrewas Hayes in Staffordshire, with the ceremony at St James' church in Barton under Needwood.
It was a day filled with laughter, emotion, music, and plenty of moody skies and a beautiful sunset to top it all off.
Hayley and her bridesmaids and family gathered at Alrewas Hayes before the ceremony for the finishing touches of getting ready, which made for some amazing images in their beautiful honeymoon suite.
St James' in Barton under Needwood was a fantastic setting for Hayley & Chris' wedding ceremony before we all headed back to Alrewas Hayes for the reception.
Pete Hartley played the violin whilst guests enjoyed the drinks reception in the courtyard, before being taken through for the wedding breakfast, speeches, and some impromptu dancing.
Afterwards Hayley, Chris, and myself snuck away for a few more portraits around the grounds of the venue, making use of the beautiful golden light and dramatic skies just before sunset.
We soon headed back in for the cake cutting and first dance, before the evening celebrations properly begun. I noticed the sky outside was looking amazing, just a few minutes after sunset, so quickly grabbed the bride & groom again to get just a few more portraits before calling it a day.
It was such a fun, joyful day to photograph and I wish Hayley & Chris all the very best for the future. Hope you enjoy the pictures!
