Between Christmas and New Year I made the journey up to Leeds to capture Kate and Toby’s wedding day. The ceremony took place in the stunning Leeds Minster, with a reception afterwards at The Leeds Club.
The day for me started at Quebecs Hotel in the centre of Leeds where Kate and her bridesmaids were getting ready. The hotel gave us a really lovely setting for the bridal preparation images.
I made a mad dash for Leeds Minster, which was just over five minutes walk away, however unfortunately the heavens had opened, and I was without a coat! Leeds Minster is absolutely huge so I had plenty of room to move around, to capture plenty of images of Kate and Toby. The balcony gave me an amazing view of the whole of the Minster.
We took a detour to a park in Leeds on the way to the reception, so that Kate and Toby could have a few pictures by themselves. Most of the rain had blown over by that time, so we managed to get a good selection of shots.
The reception took place at The Leeds Club, right in the centre of the city. Kate and Toby had done an incredible job of making it their own, with plenty of interesting table decorations which clearly had a lot of significance to them. I stayed up until late into the evening after the first dance.
