Chelsea Old Town Hall - Wedding Photography

Chelsea Old Town Hall is another one of the iconic London Town Hall wedding venues. It is set right in the heart of the Borough of Chelsea on the King’s Road, surrounded by beautiful charming streets, and only a 10 minute walk from the Thames and the Albert Bridge.

I’ve photographed at Chelsea Old Town Hall loads of times now over the years. They’re super organised, and the registrars have all been a pleasure to work with, being very flexible with photographers.

The front steps that you leave from make for some amazing pictures, and are one of my favourite spots for confetti.

Chelsea Old Town Hall is one of the few wedding venues I’ve worked at where immediately after the ceremony your guests leave first, giving you a few minutes to have a quiet breather together, after your ceremony and before the confetti and pictures.

I personally think one of the main perks of a Chelsea Old Town Hall wedding is the location. For photographs you are surrounded by some of the most picturesque streets in London, so even in 15 minutes we can get a really beautiful collection of images.

Most of the weddings I have captured at Chelsea Old Town Hall have been smaller micro weddings, with receptions at the nearby restaurants. You are really spoiled for choice, with some of my favourites being 50 Cheyne, Daphne’s, and Stanley’s. All within close walking distance!
