Iceland Wedding Photographer
Hi there, my name’s Will and I’m hoping very much that you’re on the hunt for an Iceland Wedding Photographer! I am based over in the UK, however have now travelled to Iceland many times over the last few years to photograph some beautiful weddings and engagement shoots.
My love for Iceland started in 2010 on a short family holiday. We did all the touristy stuff that you’re supposed to do, and I was totally gripped by the unique landscape. I came home just wanting to visit again straight away!
Since then I have had the pleasure of travelling to Iceland multiple times for weddings all along the south coast, and a few engagement shoots too.
I absolutely love making full use of the environment for my photographs. Capturing images of a couple in a stunning landscape, telling the story of their day, and making the most of what we have available has always been my main passion in photography. Iceland lends itself to this style entirely, with it’s breathtaking scenery.
The weddings I have captured have been at Skógafoss, Seljalandsfoss, and at the Reykjavik Cathedral. The weddings I have photographed in Iceland have been in sun, rain, snow, and -10C temperatures. It’s never been a dull predictable day! I have also had the pleasure of photographing at the Black Sand beaches of Vik, Fjaðrárgljúfur, the Reykjanes Peninsula, Hotel Ranga, Restaurant Reykjavik, Centerhotel Arnarhvoll right opposite Harpa in Reykjavik, and at Centerhotel Plaza, also in Reykjavik.
My experience not only lies in the countryside of Iceland. I have also spent a few weeks exploring central Reykjavik and know some fantastic locations for photoshoots there too. The city is so varied, and wonderfully colourful. There’s a huge amount of opportunities to capture some really beautiful pictures in Reykjavik if you hadn’t planned on leaving the city.
If you’re planning a wedding, elopement or engagement shoot in Iceland or Reykjavik then please do get in touch for an exact quote. My typical engagement shoots covering multiple locations and takes around 6 hours comes in at around £1000. My full day weddings, giving you photography from early in the morning until late in the evening typically costs around £2200.
Below you can see a small selection of my Iceland Wedding Photography, but if you'd like to see more you are welcome to look at the following blogs to see even more. Monica & Jess' Engagement Shoot. Zoe & Carl's Wedding. Christine & Branden's Wedding. Laura & Bas' Wedding.
